Having a best friend you can rely on, play with any time of the day, and just love you is one of the best things in life. But imagine having two of them then that would definitely be twice the fun. Then imagine that these two best friends are actually dogs. It definitely sounds awesome and anyone who has such best friends is so lucky.
One of these lucky people was Ruby who had the privilege of having two big and fluffy Bernese dogs for best friends. First is 130-pound Biggie who had no awareness of personal space at all. He would literally just sit beside you and cling on to you.
The second was Lucy with the soulful eyes who always looked worried. She was someone who would always be there for the whole family. And she loved Ruby so much that she would always lick her face.
Natasha and Craig, Ruby’s parents, were so happy to see the instant bond that formed between Ruby and the dogs. They quickly took Ruby in as a sister. They took care of her and always played with her. The three of them playing was just really a nice sight to see.
And when Natasha became pregnant with a second child, Lucy slept with her the whole time. It was like she knew Natasha was pregnant. After Sonny was born, the household became more active, fun, and loud. Sonny really loved her sister and he wanted to do everything Ruby did, from feeding the dogs to playing with them.
One of the things that the family loved to do was to camp and live with nature for a little while. Biggie and Lucy loved this too although they mostly just laid there except when they walked the trail. They hiked with Biggie at the front to protect them and Lucy at the back to keep them together.
The whole relationship between the dogs and the children was just all about love. And this was one thing that Natasha and Craig would not have any other way.
