Sadie is a six-year-old pup who was surrendered by her former family to a rescue center in New Jersey called Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge. When the pup’s family moved to a new house, they couldn’t bring the pup with them, so they surrendered her. Sad and confused, Saddie couldn’t help but wonder why her family didn’t want her anymore. Fortunately, the pup didn’t stay sad for long.
The staff members at the rescue center said that Saddie is a very sweet pup, but whenever she is around men, she gets nervous. However, as soon as Brian Myers came walking into the pup’s life, Saddie had a change of heart. Something about Brian made the pup ease up, and in no time, the two developed a special bond.
Brian said that after learning about Sadie’s story, he knew that he had to do something to make her life better. So he decided to be her official fur dad of Saddie by adopting the pup. How happy the pup must have felt when she finally found a new home! It didn’t take long for Saddie to show just how grateful she is to her fur dad.
Few months after adopting the pup, Brian suffered from a stroke. It was late at night when he suddenly collapsed on the floor. When Sadie saw her fur dad lying on the ground, she was immediately on high alert. She approached Brian and started to lick his face to keep him awake.
Brian related that when Saddie approached him, he grabbed onto her collar so he could get up, but Saddie cleverly dragged him toward where his phone was so he could dial 911. She knew something was wrong and that her fur dad needed help. If it wasn’t for Sadie, he would probably still be on the floor.
Thanks to the pup’s quick and clever thinking, Brain was rushed to the hospital and is now recovering. He can’t wait to go home and hug Sadie and shower her with lots of love! We all wish good health for both Brain and Sadie, so they can live a long life together and continue loving each other.
