Snow seldom drops on Malakai’s backyard, so when it did, he could not be any happier. The pup got so excited to see the ice falling everywhere and feel the dropping temperature. In fact, when Malakai’s mom, Melissa Renick, told him to get back inside their house, he refused to do so.
As a Siberian husky, Malakai has a thick double coat that keeps him comfortable in freezing temperatures. So, his mom’s insistence for him to get inside for the night got him a bit confused. For him, the cold weather was perfect to run around and play. Because of that, Malakai decided to tell Melissa that he was staying outside, and he did that in a way that he knew she would understand.

When Melissa opened the door, the four-year-old dog was standing right outside. She told him to come inside, but instead of obeying, Malakai shook his head while howling “no.” Despite the pup’s refusal, Melissa repeated the command and tried to explain why he should get in. That was when Malakai turned his head, answered “no” again, and walked away.
Melissa has always known her dog to have such a headstrong personality. So, it did not surprise her to see his recent snow-induced tantrum. Usually, Malakai does what he wants to do. However, despite being assertive and opinionated, he remains a very good boy to his mom.
@melisah903 He just wants outside 😭 #fyp #snowdogs #huskylife
Eventually, Melissa managed to convince Malakai to get back inside the house and warm-up. However, he now spends so much time staring sadly by the door. It is as if Malakai is longing for the snow outside.
Luckily, Malakai often gets his way. So, without a doubt, his mom will let him go out again and have some fun. After all, it is definitely not every day that Malakai gets to see his much-loved snow.
