Dogs are called man’s best friend for many reasons. One of which is that they are always there to comfort their favorite human when he or she is down. Case in point, this video of a dog trying to cheer up his lonely owner named Anderson will definitely warm your heart.
For Anderson, life as a street artist isn’t easy. Sure, there are times when he receives handouts that will pay for his next meal, but no one pays attention to his performance in most cases. And because of this, he would feel the need to get a hug from his beloved pet dog to help ease his sadness.
Anderson is from Colombia, struggling to make a living through his street performance. During one of his street acts, he was clueless that a man named Wara was capturing his performance. He was trying to serenade those who were stuck at the red light, but nobody seemed to care about his performance at all.
When the light turned green, Anderson was left dejected, walking to the side of the road. He was feeling frustrated because no one seemed to appreciate his music. But when he saw his beloved pup, all his cares in the world seemed to go away as they shared a hug.
Wara could have just watched the beautiful moment from his window and shared the video online, but he decided to step in and do something incredible. He went down to talk to Anderson, who was still with his dog. Then, he invited them inside his house to get to know him better and learn things simultaneously.
If the whole thing couldn’t get any better, Wara even ensured that Anderson would contact a veterinarian for his dog who was with him and his other dog named Negrita. It turned out that both of the pups are in good condition. However, that still wasn’t the end of Wara’s kindness.
The Good Samaritan wanted to do more to help Anderson. Using his social media account, he shared the street artist’s story online, and it went viral in an instant. Now, Anderson even got into a recording studio, singing for thousands of people online—all thanks to his loving dogs and Wara.
