When you’re left with nothing, your dog could be your everything. This is a new perspective that a man named Dino Rasera gained when he reunited with his dog Marble after a tragedy has befallen them.
According to reports, Dino’s home and all of his material possessions have been burned by a fire that devastated the River North Village Apartments in Michigan. On top of all the stress brought about by the fire, Dino has another issue to take care of: his missing dog!
Losing Marble in the midst of the chaos
During the fiery chaos, the one-year-old Chihuahua suddenly went missing. As soon as Dino managed to escape the inferno, he started screaming his dog’s name to no avail.
For two weeks following the disaster, Dino searched for Marble without stopping. He kept hoping that the pup would be found alive.
Little did Dino know, his search would eventually come to an end — but for a good reason!
Marble comes back!
During one weekend, an eagle-eyed driver spotted the tiny Chihuahua staying over what’s left of the River North Village Apartment. The driver recognized the pooch as Dino’s missing pet.
The good Samaritan then got in touch with Dino, who rushed to his old home without any hesitation. Back in his old home, he saw Marble.
The officers who helped Dino retrieve the dog believed that Marble might have been stuck inside the rubble for two weeks. Dino and the rescuers stood in awe, upon realizing that Marble managed to survive the cold temperature of Michigan for that long.
Dino remarks that Marble and his family are all that matters. He even says that his pup is irreplaceable.
Dino doesn’t forget all the people who have helped him in his search. Some of them even raised money to help him and his dog move forward. He thanks them and even calls them his new family.
