Dogs have certain instincts that are so strong, they can even end up saving lives. They can sense when something is wrong and sometimes it’s like they can see through people’s eyes and know when they have to do something and help.
One day, Cherish Nelson was taking her Pit Bull, Tip, for a walk. Everything was going well when Tip started pulling on his leash leading to their next-door neighbor. Cherish saw a man who was loading some stuff in his truck.
She didn’t want to intrude on the man and wanted to just keep on walking but Tip was very persistent in going to their elderly neighbor’s house. So they went to the driveway where the man was busy carrying things and Cherish asked him what he was doing.
The man seemed unbothered about Cherish and Tip so she called on her neighbor and told him what was going on. Then the man shoved the old man to the ground. Cherish got to thinking and told the burglar that she will release her dog if he doesn’t leave.
As if Tip completely understood what his hooman said, he started growling and barking aggressively at the burglar. He then went inside his truck and drove off with some of the neighbor’s stuff. However, Cherish was quick enough and was able to take a photo of the truck’s license plate.
They showed the license plate to the police and they were able to trace the truck and the burglar’s house. Luckily, all of the neighbor’s stuff was still there and the police were able to return them safely. The old man is so grateful to Cherish and Tip for helping him out.
If it wasn’t for Tip, a lot of things could have gone worse. The neighbor says that he owes his life to this brave doggo for stepping up and saving him from such a traumatic incident. Tip will surely be rewarded with lots of treats and belly rubs for being such a good boy!
