A few weeks ago, the Jackapoo named Alice and her parents went for a walk. While they were out, they found themselves strolling in the middle of a field of undisturbed snow. It was the most exciting sight not only for Alice but also her parents, Charlotte Beard and Sam Grogan.
With snow all around them, Charlotte and Sam thought about how fun it will be to build a snowman. So, the two of them immediately set to work. Alice was just as excited about the project. However, what caught her interest the most was the stick that they were about to use as the arm of the snowman.
According to Charlotte, Alice was so busy trying to get up to the branch that they used as the snowman’s arms during the entire time they were building it. She kept jumping up but could not manage to get to it.
Then, when they were about to go home, Alice went all out. She ran and jumped to get to the branch. This time, she was able to get a grip on her coveted stick.
Alice refused to let go of the stick the moment she latched on. She tugged at it and dangled in the air. However, even after pulling the stick for over five minutes, it was still stuck too far in the compacted snow. Alice failed to get the stick out.

Charlotte said that Alice’s behavior that day was perfectly normal for her. She loves sticks so much that if she sees someone carrying them, she would try to take them. She may be small, but Alice can carry even a five-kilogram (11-pound) stick.
Eventually, Charlotte dragged Alice away from the snowman. In return, she made a promise to the pup that she would get her many sticks in the future.
