Dogs are definitely amazing creatures to have as part of the family. However, we have to remember that adopting a dog means that we’re taking on the responsibility for another creature’s life. Sadly, some people fail to realize that there are certain things they need to do to keep a dog healthy and happy. Eventually, these dogs are neglected and in most cases, the people who adopt them end up abandoning them or dumping them in the streets.
A dog named Trap was abandoned right outside a shop. The person who abandoned Trap tied Trap to the fence and went inside the shop to tell the owner that someone tied the dog outside the store. The CCTV camera showed that the man was clearly lying and he was the one who abandoned Trap.
The man nonchalantly said goodbye to the dog and appeared to call someone to say that the job to abandon the dog was already done. The store owner eventually took the dog inside the shop. Not knowing what else to do, the store owner decided to call for help. The store owner ended up calling Mr. Bones and Co., which is an animal rescue organization that didn’t hesitate to take in Trap.
Mr. Bones and Co. founder Elli Frank felt so sorry and emotional when she learned about Trap. After a visit to the vet, Trap was found to be around four to five years old but his body has aged way beyond his years probably due to neglect. Trap suffered from severe hip dysplasia and had very bad dental health.
Despite being in pain, Trap still remained a friendly and docile dog even when left alone. Trap has a loud and demanding bark but the volunteers at the rescue organization found that Trap’s bark was to seek attention. All Trap wanted was a comforting cuddle from someone.
Trap still wants to play and he’s recovering really well at the rescue shelter. The staff and volunteers at Mr. Bones & Co. are making sure that Trap is comfortable and given all the love in the world. When Trap gets his dental and hip surgery, he will be fostered to recover to get ready to be adopted right into a loving forever home. Here’s a heartwarming video showing Trap’s rescue.
