Cee owns an incredibly social dog named Potato. For this pup, there is nothing more fun than saying hi to her neighbors every single day. According to Cee, who does not want to disclose her last name, Potato is like a door greeter at grocery stores.
Potato has always enjoyed spending time in their front yard ever since she was six months old. That is where she does her favorite hobby of waiting for people to pass by and pet her.
However, when the lockdown was implemented due to the pandemic, people suddenly worried that the pup’s family would no longer want them to pet the friendly pup. So, to inform everyone in the neighborhood that they are fine with people giving love and attention to their dog, Potato’s parents decided to make a sign.
Cee explained that they noticed how depressed Potato felt because of the sudden lack of attention. She started to bark at the people who she knew would normally stop to pet her. Aside from that, Potato’s parents also thought that allowing their neighbors to pet Potato would help in making everyone in the community feel a little less lonely during this time.
Cee and her partner ending up crafting a cute and friendly sign, showcasing Potato’s personality. It was the perfect intro sign for the pup. Then, the couple hung it on the fence right outside their house, making the people love Potato even more than they already did.
Potato could not be happier that she can now greet her fans every day. According to Cee, on nice days, people would wait six feet apart in line to meet their dog. The couple even thought of putting spacer circles on the sidewalk.
When Potato is indoors and not at her post, people would sometimes call her name. The moment she hears them, Potato would anxiously ring her doorbell to make sure she does not miss them.
Potato loves to be with her family inside their home. However, she also takes her responsibility to her fans quire seriously that she would never dare ignore them.
