Surfing the internet, I came by a particular video that became one of my favorite clips to watch. I might have watched the clip more than a hundred times already, but I still find it adorably funny and entertaining. If you are wondering what clip I am talking about, then you are in the right place.
The video that I am featuring here is one of my all-time favorite clips. The video is that of a Border Collie who seems to be guarding the yard on the other side of the fence.
A girl and a man can be heard talking while the camera is focused on the friendly dog. He’s just minding his own business, being friendly with everyone he sees.
Because of his seemingly friendly nature, the girl asks the man if his dog is friendly. The man promptly answers with a yes. We all think our dogs are friendly, right?
But when the girl slowly approaches the dog on the other side of the fence, he begins to snarl at her by showing his teeth. Without warning, the friendly dog becomes protective, showing off his canines to the “intruder.”
The dog’s reaction prompts the girl to ask the man again if his dog is friendly. To which, the man answers her again with a “Yes.” But then, the man continues—yes, his dog is friendly, but that is not his dog!
What a twist! I didn’t see that coming as I was wondering why he would say that his dog is friendly when it snarls at the girl when she tries to approach it. Turns out it was not the dog he is referring to all along!
Yes, his dog is friendly, but the dog on the other side of that fence is not his dog. This skit is so well thought of and that is why I think it is hilariously adorable. Who would have thought of that twist?
