Dogs and swimming pools definitely are a perfect match. No dog can seem to resist swimming. Unfortunately for our furry friends, they are not always allowed to go for a swim in the pool, especially when they’ve already jumped in more than a couple of times throughout the day. The dog in this featured video knows just how to make an excuse for him to jump in the pool.
You see, the Goldie in the video below is not only a good boy. He is also a sneaky pooch. He loves swimming in the pool so much that he has made it a hobby to “rescue” his toys from the water. But before you think what a good dog this Goldie is for keeping his rescue skills sharp, check out the video and see how sneaky he can be.
The dog’s owner admits that the reason why they don’t want to leave outdoor toys lying around is that their dog takes his lifeguard duties to a whole new level. He grabs his toys and lays down on the edge of the pool. He then drops them “accidentally” into the water.
He watches the toys slowly drift away. When he thinks they are far enough, he gets up and jumps in the water to rescue them. You might think that it’s all good, right? Except this dog does it all throughout the day—repeatedly dropping his toys in the water and then going back in to get them.
We’re not sure if he takes his lifeguard duty way too seriously, or if he is just making up reasons to jump in the pool for a swim. Nonetheless, his hobby of rescuing toys is nothing short of adorable.
