There’s something about pit bulls that make them adorable and unique. Contrary to popular belief that pit bulls are vicious dogs, they are actually quite loving and will want to cuddle with their owners all the time. Not too long ago, pit bulls were once called America’s nanny dog, which is saying a lot about their temperament.
A pit bull named Sherman is a senior pit bull rescue that needed a forever home. He had developed glaucoma in one of his eyes, which caused him pain and vision problems, and he was also quite unsure about everything. When Sherman came into his foster home, his foster mom, Angel, gave him lots of love and cuddles.
Sherman never experienced this kind of treatment from a human before and he slowly started coming out of his shell. Sherman’s you’re typical pit bull where he’s heavy on top with short legs, which makes him adorable to look at. Sherman sits in a peculiar way and it can be compared to a sitting panda.
One of Sherman’s eyes needed to be enucleated and this happened to give Sherman a more comfortable and pain-free life. Sherman eventually relaxed and he also learned to trust humans, particularly his foster mom, Angel. Sherman’s adorable personality and all his flaps made him unique and adorable that he won over his foster parent’s heart.
After a few weeks of fostering Sherman, Angel can no longer imagine what her home would be like without the adorable pooch. Sherman makes Angel’s home a lot more fun and he certainly makes every day a little better. Eventually, Angel decided to foster-fail and make Sherman a permanent part of her family.
Now, Sherman’s living the rest of his days in comfort. He is so spoiled that he has one dog bed in every room in the house in case he wants to lay down and sleep. Sherman even has a dog bed in the living room just in case the couch doesn’t work for him. Here’s an adorable video showing how spoiled Sherman is and also how adorable he is.
