Pitbulls may look scary, but they are actually among the sweetest and most loving dog breeds. Case in point, this 65-pound Pitbull named Thunder is one of the most caring Pitbulls ever. His video while taking care of newborn puppies will definitely impress you with how good he is as a foster dad.
Thunder’s journey as a foster dad began when his owner rescued and took in two newborn puppies. He was curious when he met them and seemed to be wanting to get to know them more. The learning process didn’t take long, and before they knew it, he enjoyed caring for the little ones.
Due to the puppies’ young age, they must be fed every hour and a half, resulting in many sleepless nights for Thunder’s owner. She also needed to wake up in the middle of the night or 3 AM to feed them. During these times, Thunder has always been following her and watching her every move.
Four weeks later, the puppies named Fig and Fern started to get a little bit curious with their foster dad. They would sniff him and stare at him as if trying to figure out what he was doing. On the other hand, Thunder would bring them toys and teach them how to play and chew on them.
Thunder became much like Mama Duck with his little ducklings. Everywhere he goes, they follow him, and whatever he does, they copy him. They always wanted to stay right beside him and be close to him as much as possible.
But the day came when it was time for Thunder to say goodbye to his beloved puppies. Fig and Fern found their forever home when they turned eight weeks old. During the first couple of days, the foster dad was lonely, but it didn’t take long because his owner got another puppy to foster.
The owner couldn’t help but be proud of what Thunder has become. It brought her so much joy to see him enjoying taking care of little puppies. She couldn’t be any happier and luckier to have him as her pet and foster partner.
