Aside from being known for their small size, Chihuahuas are also famous for their active personality. Case in point, this tiny, one-year-old Chihuahua named Tilly melted everybody’s heart after cheering up Millie, the World’s Oldest Great Dane. Their adorable friendship will surely make you smile.
For the past years, Millie was the only pet of the McCans, who live in the United Kingdom. She was contented to have such a loving family. But when she turned 13 years old, she longed for a sibling to share his life with.
Came in Tilly, who was just as eager as Millie to have her dog sibling. Though the two may be different in many ways, they still found themselves being the best of friends. Ever since they first met, they became inseparable.
It was always a habit for them to play chase around the house. Millie would be the one to chase, and Tilly will try to avoid being caught at all costs. At such an old age, Millie successfully showed youthful energy towards her beloved buddy.
In a video, you can see the adorable pair having a game of chase in their owner’s bedroom. The McCans couldn’t help but laugh as they ran around in circles, with Tilly even jumping over her owner’s legs. At some point in the video, they were just looking at each other while chilling on the floor.
Whenever Millie and Tilly weren’t playing, they would just cuddle at a distance, and it would be the cutest sight ever. Jess McCans also shared that despite Millie’s age, she still loves walking outside to accompany Tilly. Because of this, the family couldn’t help but be thankful for Tilly for bringing the Great Dane’s youthful energy out.
Tilly and Millie’s friendship is just a great example that no matter the age, two dogs can be best friends. Indeed, the McCans made the right decision to add Tilly to their loving family and bring Millie the happiness she deserves.
